A film starring Richard E Grant and Steve Berkoff capturing the life and conscience of Michael Antonov Kalashnikov, the inventor of the AK47.
Based on interviews with the iconic Soviet engineer in the last year of his life.
In concert with the film is an educational program called ‘Kalashnikov’s Dream; Wars & Why They Exist’.

‘Wars & Why They Exist’
Released in concert with the film, an educational program that to support a structured student discussion on the subject of global gun violence. Comprising of an interactive empathetic discussion of the lives of three young people caught in war torn regions around the world.
Launched in 2019 and became the most downloaded High School lesson in America.
After reviewing the program, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) concluded that the program has "significant potential to engage with High School students on a very difficult subject."
